Michael has been in private law practice at KKC Law for over 44 years, focusing on general business law, entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, and commercial finance. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Tolland County Bar Association.

Michael received a BA from the University of Massachusetts in 1977, a JD from Seton Hall University in 1980, and an MBA from the University of Connecticut in 1986. He was on the Seton Hall Law Review from 1978-80.

Michael has held leadership roles on numerous community boards or directors through the years, including servings as vice chairperson of the Board of Rockville Hospital and Chairperson of the Board of Eastern Connecticut Health Network. He was also President of the Ellington Ridge Country Club, Vice Chairman of Rockville Bank, and a member of the board of United Bank. Michael is currently on the board of the Rockville Bank Community Foundation
