For nearly sixty years, KKC has represented small and mid-sized corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies in resolving their disputes.
The owners of such entities occasionally fall into disagreements over governance, ownership and the sharing of benefits their companies generate. Sometimes, these issues involve a parent who wants to transition ownership to children, other relatives, or a group of important employees. Other times, KKC helps resolve dysfunction in the relationships between existing owners.
Perhaps most often, we prosecute and defend claims over contract rights, debts or obligations between the client and third parties, like vendors, former employees or owners, or other professionals, including:
- Breach of contract claims.
- Enforcement of non-compete claims or non-solicitation and/or confidentiality agreements.
- Unfair competition claims.
- Breaches of fiduciary duty and demands for accountings.
- Malpractice by lawyers, accountants, architects and engineers.
